Happy Monday, New World.

This is an unparalleled Monday as we all struggle to adapt to a world-wide pandemic and news surfacing daily that further alters our work and personal plans. COVID-19 is affecting every area of our lives. Welcome to the new normal of global lockdowns, work-from-home, closed schools and businesses, canceled events, sports games, concerts, live performances, and travel restrictions. Business districts and public areas are deserted yet big box store parking lots are full.

WHY ALL THE FUSS?

Who knew that a flu-like virus with barely any symptoms and a relatively low mortality rate could shut down the global economy, close international (and potentially national) borders, and bring our regular lives to a standstill? Some joked about the corona virus but make no mistake: this is much more dangerous than the flu. Here is a good explanation why.
