The One Secret to Succeeding in the New Year

We’ve come to the last days of a countdown to a new year. Like always, December is full of reflection and inner processing of all the things that went well…or didn’t.

Many people will be thinking the same thing in December:

“What the heck happened this year?”

For some, this question is full of joy and awe at their good fortune. To rephrase it, they are thinking, “How did I get so lucky?” These people surpassed their own expectations, succeeded at most or even all of their goals, experienced at least one positive personal achievement, and are filled with gratitude and pride at the year’s end.

They will tell you they feel quite proud and blessed.

For others, this question is exactly the opposite: one of dread and horror at their misfortunes. Maybe everything went wrong or one thing that felt like a domino effect. They are exhausted, mentally, and physically this month. They can’t wait for the year to be over.

They will tell you they are suffering and disappointed.
