Gurus are selling bogus courses on “How to Make 100k in 3 Months”.

Coaches who have never run a business are advising in areas they have no business in.

On YouTube, 20-year-olds are making videos in their parents’ basement about the secrets to becoming a millionaire.

Meanwhile, I am outside at the stand selling crêpes.

I hate to brag, but I am very good at this. Proof? I sold $1,000 worth of crêpes in 3 hours.

I am pretty sure I can teach you more about Sales from selling crêpes than all of the above, and maybe even some MBA programs.

Here is my magic crêpe selling formula applied to any business you want to build:

  1. Keep it simple. People want proven solutions. Find a good, tried-and-true product to sell that you know usually does well. People like crêpes. No need to reinvent the wheel. Plus, the costs to make his product are super low.
  2. Do a Beta launch. I had my five-year-old sample the goods before we went live.
  3. Offer a deal. We did a “buy two, get the third one free” deal that sold like hotcakes.
  4. Lure them in. We used mulled wine to fill the air with its smell, so people couldn’t help by wandering over to see what we were selling.
