UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE SUFFER

We are living in different worlds. This pandemic touched everyone but on such different levels that it feels like we are living a different version of reality. How can we fight something together when the experience of it are so wide-spread and contrasting?

The Rich and Famous

It’s kind-of nice to be confined in our beautiful second home with plenty of nature, like a mini-vacation, and to have all of us together. We can take these lovely boat rides and work on our tans. It is reassuring that our doctor gave us a few Covid tests to keep on-hand too in case we feel sick and we have probably a year’s supply of masks and hand sanitizer. Luckily, our cook and cleaners came with us to take care of us with all the stress. We’ll deal with any financial losses after this is over. Nothing to worry too much about as we will always make back whatever we need.”

“This is insane. I can’t go to my favorite bar. I can’t BBQ with my friends (but I’ll probably host one anyways). Spring Break was ruined. Delivery of my cosmetics will take 3 days. I can’t get my trainer to come over so I may lose the abs I was working so hard on. And this is really hurting my career and business plans. I won’t even talk about my dating life. We don’t even need the lockdown. The hospitals are empty except for a few
