Everyone nowadays seems to have a personal brand. Hell, even my neighbor has started an Instagram account for her dog. The influencer crowd has exploded. An 8-year-old kid is the richest Youtuber, worth 26 million in 2019. Grandmas are dancing on Tiktok. I was at a new gym doing a free tour right before Covid hit and the employee asked me how many followers I had on social media. I replied that I didn’t know the exact number and asked “Why?”. She explained that for members with 20+k followers, they offer a 50% discount in exchange for monthly shoutouts. Yeah…..this is the new reality. Are you still not convinced that you need a personal brand? Oh, believe me, you do!

The best part is that you can set up a brand for zero dollars.

Free doesn’t mean easy. You have to commit time and effort to build a brand. If this is something you want to do, keep reading.

Before I dive in, can I say what you shouldn’t do? It may be tempting but please don’t do dumb stuff for likes.

If you have the budget, by all means: hire a marketing agency. You will definitely get value from a reputable one.
